Continuing from his solo exhibition in 2016, the exhibition will feature approximately 20 prints created using trees as motifs, focusing on the beauty and divinity of nature and its relationship to human beings. The exhibition will feature the "collagraph technique," in which various materials are printed on top of the print material, as well as the use of Japanese paper, which creates cracks and wrinkles that remind us of a long time ago.
Kei Watanabe was born in Tokyo, Japan. Graduated from International Christian University (ICU). After living in London, England and Washington, D.C., U.S.A., he has been living in Australia since 2005. He mainly works with prints. She began her printmaking career at Ega Print Studio in Nerima, Tokyo, and continued to study etching and silkscreening at Central Saint Martins in London, and various techniques at TAFE (a public technical college) in Australia. He has exhibited his work in solo and group exhibitions in Australia and abroad, and has received numerous awards.
