Art for Thought in Ginza, Tokyo is thrilled to present the solo exhibition of Michela Pedron, an exciting and innovative contemporary artist from Venice, Italy. Her exhibition titled “From Italy with Art” will be on display from March 17th to April 1st, 2016, featuring about 30 pop and kitsch works expressed using icons such as animals and characters.

Pedron's artwork is not only visually appealing, but also encourages the viewer to think deeply about the message behind each piece. Her work is a reflection of contemporary society, with influences from pop culture and advertising. As you explore her exhibition, you will be captivated by the dynamic and colorful world she has created.

Born in Trento, Italy in 1980, Pedron graduated with a first-class honors degree in Painting at the Venice School of Fine Arts in 2005. She then went on to graduate with a first-class honors degree in Visual Arts and Show's Disciplines, Painting section, at the same institution in 2006. Pedron has exhibited her works in several solo exhibitions and art fairs in Italy and abroad, including the International Modern and Contemporary Art fair in Rome and the KunStart 2010 International Art Fair in Bolzano.
