Akiyo Yamamoto's solo exhibition "Hibi/Kei" will be held from Monday, March 2 to Thursday, March 19.
Using oil paints and other drawing materials, she creates drawings on special Japanese paper, utilizing blotting and transparency to create unique works which are enjoyable to view from either side.
The artist's technique conveys to us the sides and underside of the world he wishes to depict, the present time that is made up of interrelated and intertwined aspects, and a world that shows various expressions depending on the way you look at it.
