Artist's Message [Ayano Kawabe]

It is fun to look at the glass, thinking about the color matching and the combination of colors, I want to create such works that are fun to look at and brighten up a room when used or displayed. I would like to create such works.

Artist's Message [Masukata Masako]

Focusing on plaster, which is usually used as a tool in the process of glass casting, he creates minimalistic works that draw attention to the combination of glass and plaster, their light, shapes, and textures. In this new work, which uses vessel-like shapes, the artist has attempted a different expression from his previous works, starting from the image that the shapes have. On the other hand, in his pictorial works, he continues the same process as before, seeking to express the inner world that can be depicted with glass and plaster.
