We are pleased to present "PRINT WORK," a solo exhibition of Hirohisa Saito from September 2 (Fri.) to September 17 (Sat.), 2022.
The field of prints, which has been changing with the times, covers a wide range of expression from woodblock prints, copperplate prints, lithographs, silkscreen prints, to digital prints.
Saito, who has taken on a variety of challenges in his long history with prints, will present a new series of 20 works based on anecdotes from the life of Buddha that he has been experimenting with new possibilities of expression by combining prints (data) with handwriting, photographs, and other media.
The artist, who is based in Fukushima, will be present on Friday and Saturday during the exhibition period.
