ABOUT

We are pleased to present an exhibition of works by calligrapher Taku Kosugi from September 3 (Monday) to 8 (Saturday), 2018. Words expressed in calligraphy contain unique rhythms and melodies. On the other hand, we enjoy musical expression both sensually and as words. In this exhibition, we will present works that combine calligraphy and music, and you will be able to enjoy them while listening to the music that serves as the motif of the works. We hope you will enjoy the exhibition.
Taku Kosugi was born in 1990. Born in Kanuma City, Tochigi Prefecture. He started calligraphy at his grandmother's calligraphy class and studied under Kayashima Kundo and Tsurumi Kazuo. After graduating from Tochigi High School and International Christian University (ICU), he worked for Microsoft Japan Co.
Based in Tokyo and Paris, he has worked both in Japan and abroad. In addition to exhibitions and performances in various places. He also collaborates with orchestras and gives lectures at universities.
