ABOUT
Ena Ishii will hold a solo exhibition, "Texture: Overlapping Signs," from August 17 (Thu.) to 25 (Fri.), 2017.
Based on the theme of "Texture," a word that refers to the visual and tactile sensations created by "objects," such as touch and texture, approximately 20 platinum prints and cyanoprints will be on display.
We hope you will take this opportunity to view the exhibition.

Artist's Message
When I photograph, I always try to touch the object that will be the subject of the photograph. I feel that I can get closer to the essence of the object through the feel of my hands and body heat when I touch it. From the moment of touch, time and memory begin to overlap.
In this exhibition, I expressed the feelings I have accumulated day by day since the moment I was born into this world, using colors and textures that I find beautiful today.
I would be happy if you could feel in your hearts the presence that exists in a quiet yet absolute way by gently overlapping each other.
