Currently, we are thrilled to host the solo exhibition of Shizushin Matsuda, a prominent artist who has been creating artworks for over 25 years. Titled "Yellow Impulse," the exhibition explores the theme of color, specifically the color yellow, and its multifaceted representations. Matsuda's artworks include flat pieces that express the world of "yellow" using the volcanic ash of Sakurajima, his hometown in Kagoshima, and illustrations, designs, and three-dimensional works featured in books, CDs, and other products he has created.
The exhibition runs from February 14, 2017, to February 25, 2017, with exhibition hours from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, and salon and dining from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
