ABOUT
Art for Thought in Ginza is pleased to present the Hirotoshi Toyofuku and Rihiko Yaeogashi Exhibition, a unique display of ceramics and paintings that capture the essence of natural beauty. Toyofuku, an artist with a passion for pottery, has been creating stunning ceramic pieces for over 20 years. His work is influenced by his fascination with the bronze age and features a wide range of unique textures created by the ashes and flames of the wood-burning kiln. His pieces are full of character and showcase the beauty of the earth.
Yaeogashi, on the other hand, is a painter who seeks to capture the beauty of nature in his work. He believes that true art is not only what you can see but also what you can't. His paintings reflect this philosophy and feature a range of subjects, from the natural landscapes of Iwate Prefecture to the Andon Festival in Osaki, with each piece featuring a unique use of light and color.
