ABOUT

Welcome to Art for Thought, a Japanese art gallery located in the heart of Ginza, Tokyo. We are proud to showcase some of the most beautiful and inspiring art pieces from both established and emerging artists. Our goal is to provide a platform for art lovers from all over the world to appreciate the beauty of Japanese art and culture. We are pleased to invite you to our upcoming exhibition, "Architectural Institute of Japan Architectural Culture Week Student Workshop 2012".
Art for Thought is delighted to host the "Selected Works and Student Award Works" exhibition of the Architectural Institute of Japan Architectural Culture Week Student Workshop 2012 from October 15th to November 2nd. The theme of the workshop was "Creating a Small Architecture in 1/1", and the top four teams that passed the 2012 tea room first screening were invited to participate in the second round. The works of the top two teams that won prizes in the second round of judging were used as the venue for the Ginchakai open-air tea ceremony held in Ginza, Tokyo. This exhibition showcases the top works of the workshop, which were created by some of the most talented architecture students in Japan. We are proud to be sponsored by the Architectural Institute of Japan, co-sponsored by All Ginza Association, and planned to be sponsored by Japan Institute of Architects, Japan Federation of Architects and Building Engineers Associations, Japan Federation of Architectural Firms Associations, and Japan Federation of Construction Contractors. We are also supported by some of the biggest corporations in Japan, including Obayashi Corporation, Kajima Corporation, Shimizu Corporation, Taisei Corporation, Takenaka Corporation, Tokyo Gas, Toda Corporation, Nikken Sekkei, Nisshin Kogyo, Nihon Sekkei, and Mitsubishi Jisho Sekkei.
