We are excited to announce our upcoming duo exhibition titled "Osmosis" by Brian C. Lo and Kumi Nakajima. This exhibition features abstract paintings by Brian C. Lo and glass art by Kumi Nakajima, both graduates of the University of Hawaii at Manoa. The exhibition will run from August 22 to September 2, from 11 am to 11 pm daily (closed on Sundays).
The two artists have unique sensibilities due to their diverse cultural backgrounds. While the materials they use are different, the colors and themes in their works resonate with each other. Their artworks incorporate time, space, and colors that continue to enliven their artistic creations. Don't miss the opportunity to experience the "osmosis" of these two talented artists.
Brian C. Lo, who has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Alaska Anchorage and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, is a renowned abstract painter. His works are characterized by vivid colors, complex patterns, and layers of paint that create a sense of depth and texture. Lo's paintings are not only visually stunning, but they also convey a sense of emotion and energy that is sure to captivate the viewer.
Kumi Nakajima, who has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from San Francisco State University and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, is a talented glass artist. Her works are inspired by the natural beauty of Hawaii and the Pacific Ocean. Nakajima's glass art pieces are delicate yet powerful, combining traditional glassblowing techniques with modern design concepts. Her creations are a testament to the beauty and fragility of nature.
