ABOUT

Get ready to experience the unique Japanese autumn tradition of Ginchakai at Ginza with Art for Thought's "Gincha Cafe" exhibition. The exhibition will be held for two weeks starting from Monday, October 21st, and will feature a competition exhibition, a tea room installation, and creative architecture Japanese sweets designed by a long-established Japanese sweet shop in Ginza and students. Join us and indulge in the world of "architecture" and "wa" while participating in exciting events that will bring you closer to Japanese culture.

Art for Thought is excited to announce its "Gincha Cafe" exhibition, celebrating the autumn tradition of Ginchakai in Ginza. During the exhibition, a competition exhibition work will be exhibited, along with a tea room installation. The exhibition will also offer creative architecture Japanese sweets designed by a long-established Japanese sweet shop in Ginza and students. Additionally, there will be several exciting events to participate in during the exhibition.

The first event is the "Ginza Architecture Tour," which will take place on October 26th. The tour will explore buildings in Ginza and surrounding areas, with young architects, former Yoshimoto comedians, and art tellers as guides. The tour will explore things that change with time and things that do not, providing a unique insight into the architecture of Ginza.

The second event is the "Koto Live" will take place on October 26th. The event will feature koto player Rin Nakashima and guitarist Mitsuru Aratani, who will create a new world of music together.

The third event is the "Rokyoku Cafe & Night," which will be held on November 1st. The event will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Hirosawa Torazo II's death and feature performances by Torazo-bushi Preservation Society Honorary Chairman, Torazo second son, Toraharu Hirosawa, and Akira Itami Musician.
