ARTIST'S INTRODUCTION / STATEMENT
Discover the magic of glass this summer at Art for Thought's "I like glass, I like ramune.-Midsummer" exhibition. From July 30th to August 17th, 2013, eight talented glass artists from Tohoku will showcase their work using techniques such as blown glass, burner work, and fusing. The exhibition includes a variety of cool jewelry and vessels that perfectly capture the essence of summer in Japan.
Join us for a range of exciting events scheduled throughout the exhibition period. On August 4th, visitors can experience calligraphy in a yukata and have their favorite words and names written in beautiful calligraphy. Later that day, we'll host a jazzy collaboration live event (1,500 yen charge, 1,000 yen for those who come in yukata) that's not to be missed.
