Welcome to the world of art at Art for Thought in Ginza, Tokyo. The PS Exhibition features "The Daily Life of Ten Pieces Drawn" by Thai artist Warashananan Payun and Korean artist Kim So-hee. The exhibition runs from April 22nd to May 10th, 2013 and showcases the everyday scenery of the big city, as seen through the eyes of two different nationalities.
Come witness the daily life of the big city through the eyes of two talented artists from different countries. Payoon and Sohee, who have just completed their doctoral course at Tama Art University, will take you on a journey filled with vivid and humorous everyday scenery in their latest exhibition. Warashananan Payun was born in Bangkok, Thailand in 1979. In 2010, she completed her graphic design major at Tama Art University Graduate School of Fine Arts. In 2013, she completed her doctoral program at the same university and received her Ph.D. She exhibited her work in the “Bangkok Sightseeing” exhibition at Gallery Speakfor in Tokyo in 2012.
Kim So-hee was born in Daegu, South Korea in 1983. In 2007, she completed her major in printmaking at Hongik University. She then went on to complete her master’s degree in printmaking at Tama Art University Graduate School of Art in 2010. Kim has exhibited her work in various galleries in South Korea and Japan, including the Dongsanbang Gallery, Art Space Playground, Jung Gallery, and Shirota Gallery.
