RIO UMEZAWA's solo exhibition "Time Retrospective - 7 years ago to now" will be held until next Saturday, October 5.

RIO UMEZAWA (Born in 1974 in Mie Prefecture)
Studied at Mineo Oura Painting School from the age of 3 to junior high school, and moved to the U.S. by himself at the age of 15.
At an art high school in Massachusetts, he studied painting, sculpture, silk-screening, etching, dance, and musicals. He then went on to an art college in San Francisco.
After a working holiday in Australia, she returned to Japan.
In 1998, he began his career as a radio DJ, working on programs on FM OH! (Osaka), ZIP-FM (Nagoya), and JFN national broadcasts, while also doing various commercial narrations, MCing, and hosting.
In April 2014, he moved to Tokyo to expand his activities as a painter.
While continuing to work as a radio DJ and in other media, he has held solo and group exhibitions in Japan and abroad (Singapore, Taiwan),
He has participated in art fairs, competitions, and group exhibitions in Japan and abroad (Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, the U.S., France, etc.).
He has also designed album jackets for musicians, wine labels in Germany, and artist collaboration goods for Sanseido Bookstore.
