ABOUT
Art for Thought is excited to announce our upcoming talk event, featuring political scientist Takashi Mikuriya, Professor Emeritus of the University of Tokyo. As a specialist in political history and architecture, Mr. Mikuriya brings a unique perspective to his lecture on the life of former Prime Minister Nobusuke Kishi. Titled "Now, Nobusuke Kishi," this lecture will take place at the Former Higashiyama Residence in Gotemba, where Kishi spent his later years. But before that, we will hold a pre-event at our gallery in Ginza called "Ginza Mikuriya Talk Cafe."
During the "Ginza Mikuriya Talk Cafe," Mr. Mikuriya will be joined by Kengo Akashi, Editor of Weekly Reader, and Art Teller Toni~ for an insightful discussion on the intersection of politics and architecture. This is an exclusive opportunity to hear from Mr. Mikuriya himself, as he shares his wealth of knowledge on the topic.
Don't miss this valuable opportunity to learn and grow from one of Japan's foremost experts in political history and architecture. The "Ginza Mikuriya Talk Cafe" will be held on September 18, 2013, from 18:30-19:30 at Art for Thought. The participation fee is 2,000 yen and includes one drink.
