ABOUT
ART FOR THOUGHT is pleased to present a group exhibition of 20 young artists, “SQUARE EXHIBITION.”
Square is a shape that brings stability and equilibrium. On the other hand, it is a shape from which there is no escape.
We believe that a frame that cannot be expanded either vertically or horizontally is a challenge for a painter. If you want to depict space, you need horizontal space, and if you want to depict the appearance and presence of a person, you need vertical space.
We would like to explore the possibilities of what kind of expression is possible within an enclosed “Square” with no escape.

ABOUT
ART FOR THOUGHT(アートフォーソート)にて、若手作家20人によるグループ展
「SQUARE EXHIBITION」を開催します。
Square(スクエア)は安定感や均衡性をもたらす形です。

Naaron @_naaron_
Born in Tokyo in 1997 and raised in Koto-ku, Tokyo.
He enrolled in art high school and college, and studied sculpture and oil painting.
Back then, he was influenced by John Lennon, whom he admired most in the world for his expressive power with a strong philosophical message, and began to want to express himself in some way.
He was fascinated by the unique and illigal view of the world of street art/performances through his hobby of skateboarding, and found that graffiti and other forms of free expression without boundaries had a strong message, which he found common ground with and fell in love with the world of art.
After graduation, he worked freelance mainly in Tokyo.
Seeking expression that only he can create, he specializes in all-around contemporary art expression that is not bound by any framework, centered on oil paintings, and in which the artist is the main focus rather than the work itself.
He is a heretic who straddles the worlds of street culture of skateboarding and contemporary art.
